mike davison: You get a map that shows FIVE transmitters, Bilsdale, Wharfdale, Belmont, Keighley and Emley Moor. Click on the transmitter to show the coverage for each.

I have a freeview TV in the bedroom. When first installed I got all the channels, but now have lost ITV 1, ITV 2 and Channel 4. Reset TV from the beginning but did not rectify. Do have a signal booster - what should I do? (I live in Woking, Surrey by the way if that makes any difference).

Re-post: Is it possible to receive British Eurosport through my Freeview box? I realise there must be a charge involved somewhere as it's actually a pay-channel, so is the Top-Up TV service the preferred way to go for this?

Hi any advice would be gratefully received my 4 year old Samsung LE40R74BDX picture has started breaking up on most stations for most of the day, seems better in the evening, I've had conflicting advice, firstly that it's the tuner and that if I connect a set top box to the TV and the picture is OK then the tuner in the TV is to fault, I've tried 2 set top boxes, a Phillips and a Goodmans, I get a picture with the Phillips but not the Goodmans?
Another suggestion is that it is the aerial, how do I find out one way or the other without throwing money at it.
Many Thanks
Lynda

Thank you so much for your concise instructions on how to get your channels back. Yesterday I had lost the first 10 channels on my freeview box - Inearly chucked it out the window - as the instructions on resetting it were not at all concise and helpful! Came on this site this morning and it has taken me 5 minutes to get all my channels. I am now a very happy bunny!

All channel 1 ( ie BBC) programmes keep cutting off and I am unable to receive subtitles on them. Every other channel is fine. Its the same with both freeview boxes in my home and its very frustrating. I am in Birmingham and with the Sutton Coldfield transmitter which is due for a first switchover retune on 7 Sept. Is this problem (which started 2 weeks ago) due to the switchover ?
Thanks heavens for iPlayer!

Jo: Check that the channels tuned in on the BBC channels are from Sutton Coldfield on C41+. It is possible that signals from The Wrekin on C26 or Waltham on C61 have been stored instead of those from Sutton.
