Mike Smethurst: Your digibox has retained the tuning information for the programmes prior to DSO1, and has added the "new" MUXs it has found by placing the programmes up in the 800s as a consequence.
You need to make the digibox "forget" all the old tuning data - this may need you to select "factory reset" or "default settings" or "first time installation" or similar from the installation menu.

One thing ...I have terrestial freeview on my TVs at present ...is satellite freeview/free to air better than my existing terrestial freeview...my local friends say it is the same so why bother

derek gavin: If you want to have the most possible free channel choice, have both Freeview and Freesat.

David: There is still analogue in the sense that the RF output from your Sky box is analogue. Switch back to analogue to watch via the analogue RF with magic eye.

I have just looked at the instructions on how to clear all channels and update freeview for the digital changeover. However, the instructions give advice re a 'Freeview box' Will these same instructions work if the TV has Freeview built in, so that I disconnect the aerial from the TV?

KayPot: yes, treat the TV the same as a separate Freeview box. Essentially the TV just has the Freeview equipment as an internal component.

Hi, I've checked my post code GU47 0XS and found that I am still unable to receive anty freeview channels until I beleive Feb next year. Is this correct? I don't live in any far out location its roughly the middle of the south east. How come houses just round the corner get a good signal from the same transmitter?

Thanks
