Stan: No. You must use a Freesat+ or Freesat+ HD box if you want to play/record/pause.

Suddenly - tonight - for no apparent reason, selection of certain channels results in a "No Signal" message on screen. Is there a problem with the Mendip transmitter??

Mendip transmitter.
As I mentioned in a post half hour ago (now removed???) AFTER RETUNING AS ADVISED, multiplex D can not be found. I'd say that there does appear to be a fault / lack of signal.

I have an LG tv with built in freeview and one scart socket. My hitachi freeview recorder is plugged into that scart socket and works perfectlt. I was unable to use my DVD player so bought a 2 point scart adaptor and plugged the dvd and freeview box into this then pluggede this into TV. The DVD player plays but has no sound. Can you advise why or what I can do to rectify this

bring back analog: I would check Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice as you are clearly in the best reception area.

Carolyn Wood: Don't bother with the adaptor.

Just use the SCART marked VCR on the Freeview recorder to connect to the DVD Player, and a SCART from the Freeview recorder to the TV.

Put the Freeview recorder into stand-by mode to use the DVD.

I've bought a secondhand BT Vision box, the seller assured me that it will work as a Freeview box without paying for BT Vision but every time you turn it on and try to get it set up you get an error code 063. Any ideas please?
