Steve Baker: Yes, you have wasted £25, the card does nothing your subscription card would have done if you left it in the machine.
You can't use a Freeview recorder to record from a satellite receiver.

Thanks Briantist. I haven't used the card yet so I'll see if they'll refund me. I can't affor a new HD+ box yet, so I'll just go back to receiving freeview throught the HDR.

Hiya
I wonder if anyone can help me, I have a Durabrand CG5660-M Freeview box from asda brought a few years ago most channels worked fine but i only had an indoor aeriel on that tv, since then the council have put up a communial aerial on the building I live in a council flat in Nottingham, at first switchover the bbc channels went except bbc 4, now most others have gone after the second switchover, and it is connected to the communial aeriel,I have retuned loads of times, radio seems to be there to be there but the tv channels have either gone or pixalated can anyone help please?

Can anyone help? Since the digital switchover in March I have lost all channels on my Dab Radio, I have tried to retune but it is not finding anything, has anyone else had this problem? or is it just a coincidence that my radion has gone wrong on the same day as the switchover?

Christine: Yes, a total coincidence. The DAB network is separate from the TV network, it uses different transmitters on different masts.

My mum has seg box connected to a freeview tv and uses a vcr to tape form the seg box. whne you toggle to the seg box it has no picture , will not respond to the remote, shows interference on the screen and a timer counts down from 5 mins. Is the vcr interfering with the signal ? if so how do you correct?

Can i get the individual bbc i channels tuned into the sky box? I have an irish box and bbc news is not on there but i have tuned it in but i can't use the red button to get the interactive channels up. I tried all frequencies available but it says channels not found.
