published on UK Free TV

Jordy writes:

Just a head's up to those living in fringe areas especially and i suppose all those in the Mendip service area...

My brother lives in Devizes and is served by Mendip, yesterday he got these rather lovely leaflets through his and his neighbours door's by "THE DIGITAL SWITCHOVER GROUP" all nice and pink in colour and very professional with e-mail addresses with the word .GOV being used. Today he had a young lady knock the door and attempt to sell him first a "digital aerial" and advised him as she spoke on behalf of the "GOVERNMENT HELP SCHEME" they would not be getting digital tv after switchover.

Even though they have FREEVIEW now and will have for many years to come.

IT'S UTTER NONSENSE THESE PEOPLE ARE TALKING.

When that failed a satellite dish was being sold to him (They are calling it a "FREE TO AIR DIGITAL SATELLITE KIT") The brass neck of these people. I'm told they're blanketing towns across Somerset and more than likely South Wales as well so please beware and if you have any questions please ask or visit PARAS - Professional Aerial Riggers Against The Sharks.
