Digital UK has announced today the dates for the switchover in the old Yorkshire TV region.

First, Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire (ne Humberside) and Scarborough areas will have stage one on 3 August 2011, with the final switch on 17 August - see ITV YTV Lincolnshire - ukfree.tv.

Second, the Sheffield and Chesterfield areas start on 10 August 2011 and end on 24 August 2011 - see ITV YTV South Yorkshire - ukfree.tv.

Finally, Emley Moor and the 50 transmitters in West and South Yorkshire that relay Emley Moor start switchover on 7 September 2011 and finish on 21 September 2011 - for this see ITV YTV Yorkshire - ukfree.tv

There will be just two weeks between the first and second dates for each area.
