Find by Frequency and BBC Engineering information fixed

published on UK Free TV

Today I have made two changes to the site to deal with systems that I had let get out of date.

First, the Find a Freeview transmitter by frequency was previously only showing the allocations for pre-switchover full service Freeview transmitters. It now correctly shows all the live Freeview transmitters, including Freeview Light ones.

Secondly, the BBC engineering information system had developed a few bugs. It was not reporting correctly when more than one analogue or digital service on a transmitter was reporting a fault - it now correctly shows all faults. Additionally, around 20 (of the 1134) transmitters were not reporting correctly due to the "nearest postcode" not being within sight of the transmitter. These have all been corrected by hand and also show correctly on the transmitter's own page, for example - Patcham digital switchover date.
