The new national BBC DAB on the Eitshal transmitter serves the majority of the Western Isles, providing digital radio coverage to Harris and Lewis.

This will soon be joined by a new transmitter at Clettraval to serve the Uists to the south in the next couple of months.

Eitshal adds about 18,000 people to the coverage of the network.
