Christina: DigitalUK's job is to interface with the public, but they are not in charge of planning, that comes down to Ofcom and the private company Arqiva.

Yay,
It appears i now have all my channels back on the Talconeston transmitter.
After 5 Days without them it is great to finally have them back.

In my opinion there must have been a problem with the transmitter that they were not disclosing to the public.

Thanks to everyone on this site who gave me help ^ advice.

Briantist- I don't suppose for one moment that they have any hand in planning, but to do their job they need to KNOW the plans, and so really should have been set up with good routes of good information with the people doing the real work on the transmitters. It really is not terribly useful if WE have to tell THEM what is happening- don't you think?

donny- I'm living in hopes now you have your channels back! Zilch here so far, though.

Christina: Are you saying that Digital UK didn't know about this Tacolneston retune event? It is on their website - Digital UK Retail - Tacolneston retune - 17 August 2011 .

Just tried removing the RF out from my BTVision box, re-tuned, and hey presto, its back!
Have put the RF out back in too and its still working.
I assume further works at Tacolneston have resolved the issues?!?!
Christina, give it go now....good luck!;-)
