Hi, Been reading all the comments re DAVE. It is featured on the current advertising of FREESAT on tv as a channel that can be received FREE, without having to be a subscriber to SKY.
Some simple non technical easy to follow non jargon instructions would be most welcome.

Does Sky freesat have more free channels than others? and how does the Humax freeat box compare with sky? Also with the sky freesat box can you pause rewind record etc?

Sara Knight: Please see Compare Freesat and Freesat-from-Sky TV | - independent free digital TV advice to compare the channels. You can't pause/play/record with fSfS (it costs £10 a month to do that), but you can with proper Freesat box.

My postcode is BS30 9PZ and I believe I receive the best Freeview signal from the Mendip transmitter. I cleared all channels and re-scanned - seems OK but I am missing Dave which should be on channel 19. I have an old aerial but it has been working fine up until fairly recently. Is the only answer to install a new aerial?

The multiplex that transmits Dave is currently on low power until 28th March. A retune after this time will most likely restore Dave and some others, for example Sky News on 82.

Hope this helps,
