Mike Braithwaite: I would start by having a look at Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice but you should see Mike Dimmick's post just above.

Mike Braithwaite: you'd be using the Lancaster transmitter near, as you say, Nether Kellett. All six multiplexes transmit at the same power level from this transmitter, so you should be looking for any other piece of equipment using C22.

If the aerial has a damaged or missing reflector, that can affect its response at the lowest frequencies. See http://wrightsaerials.tv/….pdf for a discussion of what can happen if the reflector is too short.

Hi. I live in Duffield, 5 miles north of Derby . I was getting ITV4 fine, but just checked and nothing. :(( the other itv channels appear fine. BBC and sky are all at 100% strength, whereas many/most of the others are at significantly less. Will this improve or am I getting the best I can? I have a new (very tall!!) aerial with gain..

Comments?

Regards.

Mark Bateman: If receiving from Waltham then ITV4 (MuxD/ArqB) is presently showing as being poor, however this should improve on switchover (31st Aug) when its present Ch42 changes to Ch57.

Its also noticed that MuxA (Ch29) will remain in the poor category until 12th of October, although this is not shown as being presently possible for reception anyway.

Hello

We retuned our televisions (when it didn't work the first couple of times we went back to initial install having followed the advice on here) last weekend, but only the 2 upstairs can receive itv4. The 2 downstairs jump from channel 23 to channel 25 - so there appears to be no channel 24 on them at all.

We already have a signal booster downstairs and the 2 televisions run off the same aerial. Does anybody have any idea what to do next?
