Adrian Robson: Which way is your aerial pointing? Due south (with horizontal polarisation) would be the Mendip Tx. East-south-east (with vertical polarisation would be the Kings Weston Tx.

Hi,
I am Postcode PO20 7BG picking up Midhurst Tx. Retuned this morning following last night's switchover. All good apart from this channel(#24). Brill channel yesterday and prior but nothing now.

Steve: Channel 24 is BBC A multiplex (BBC One, BBC Two etc) from Rowridge. Midhurst's is now on 55.

In fact, Midhurst uses channel 50 upwards. You could run the automatic tuning scan with the aerial unplugged up to 55% to ensure that you don't pick up Rowridge.

My TV with built in Freeview doesn't pick up ITV4, all the other channels seem fine. Any idea why ITV4 isn't available, my post code is CB9 0LS

I live in the CO12 area and am served by the Anglia (Sudbury) transmitter, I can get most Channels but when ITV 4 is selected it tells me "There is no signal" , could this be a signal strength problem, or what else could it be.

Ken: ITV4 and other services carried on the ArqB multiplex from Sudbury are on low power and will remain like that until 27th June when a retune will be necessary. ArqB has proved problematic for many since it changed in November.

For a list of services carried on ArqB, see:
