For information about Forces TV, see Forces TV is closing, and not just on Freeview > RXTV info and Forces Network and there is also information on their Facebook page apparently.

Together TV now have a live free streaming service, see Watch Together TV live and on-demand | Welcome to Together TV | Together for good
There's no mention at this time about remaining on the Freeview EPG or any Freeview App.

Any +1 channels will go, QVC HD has recently appeared on satellite I hear,
There is rumour (I stress rumour) that something might appear on some space on the Local mux - possibly a Now 70s/80s or a That's TV channel (the latter already has some presence) in some areas.
Freesports is unlikely to appear anywhere else, nor are any remaining Community/Charity supported channels. There is an SD slot on one of the COM muxes - can't recall which one off-hand, but carriage there is much more expensive than COM7 so unlikely to be any other existing channels moving.

Have anyone have any idea when the remaining multiplexes will be converted to DVB-T2/MPEG-4 now that their Licences have been extended.

Hmm. Wish we knew Roger, absolutely nothing has been said by anyone. Anything being said is total speculation. The minute anyone hears anything definitive I'm sure it'll receive widespread publicity.
You need to hassle DCMS and tell Nadine never mind selling C4, get on with DVB/T2 !

Hi.

I live in London and just did a retune on my TVs, and to my great delight I now see that BBC4HD has turned up on c30, now showing up on no 106 with BBC 3HD on no 109, however the EPG simply states " BBC Four HD returns soon". I've no idea when this changed, does anybody know when BBC4HD will start broadcasting on this channel?

Many thanks.

Cris

cris:

It was as a result of the closure of the temporary multiplex COM7 on June 30th.
See https://www.freeview.co.u…2022

There's no detail yet provided about how soon they'll be back on PSB3
See https://www.bbc.co.uk/rec…tion

We believe it's all part and parcel of the equipment changes that will eventually enable Local Regional News on BBC1 HD and that there have been some delays on equipment availability due the current global situation resulting from the pandemic.

@Chris.SE.

Many thanks. Considering the Local News in HD has had a message telling us that it's not available yet but they're working on it for the past 10 years, I guess I shouldn't hold my breath for BBC4HD, it'll be a lovely surprise one day, probably on the day they announce that BBC4 is closing.

All the best.

Raymond Taylor: PSB3 has always been on UHF channel 30 from Crystal Palace, the error on this page has been acknowledged by regular contributors numerous times but only the site owner is able to fix it.

Raymond Taylor:

A reiteration of what I've posted before -

As the site owner hasn't had time to update the errors, I've posted this (one of many) -

In the multiplex order BBCA/PSB1, D3&4/PSB2, BBCB HD/PSB3, SDN/COM4, ArqA/COM5, ArqB/COM6, Local multiplex, the UHF channels for Crystal Palace are as follows
C23, C26, C30, C25, C22, C28, C35 (London Local mux).

See Channel listings for Industry Professionals | Freeview for which channels are carried on which multiplex.
Note COM7 has now closed (it was only ever a temporary multiplex).

Worth repeating now and again for those that aren't aware.
