I have just purchased a new HD PVR. I can get all of the HD but for some strange reason I can't get ITV2 and STV+1 (I can hear them but the sound cuts out a lot but no ). Strange is I can get STV and ITV2+1. I see that MUX 2 is down as low rating. Could this have something to do with it? I tried the HD PVR in on another TV in another room and it the issue with STV+1/ITV2 is still there. I have checked the strength of these two channels and they don't seem any less than channels that are ok.

Steve: I would try My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice on the box.

FYI There are 4 people who have the same PVR and have the same problem and we are all receiving our from . I am have not tried the solution you provided but I have done a firmware which is the equivalent of a factory reset and it rescans all the again since they do not exist.

Well Blow my socks off, randomly tried to tune channel 59 during an advert break....and what do you know?

All 4 HD popped up!!!

Talk about random!

These figures would make sense based on the low 10kW broadcast power, i'm hoping it not just a fluke due to the calm and clear weather.

FYI You are correct in general but for this major and the way it is done for this pvr it does return the machine to the factory settings.

Steve: I suspect I'm probably right here too. As your box isn't listed on the current DTG :: DTT Receiver Downloads schedule, asking for a "firmware " will simply result nothing happening at all.

Please post a question, answer or commentIf you have Freeview reception problems before posting a question your must first do this Freeview reset procedure then see: Freeview reception has changed, Single frequency interference, and Freeview intermittent interference.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
