I have been doing manual retuning at various points in the day
if you follow the link in the Mike Dimmick post you get to this for ITV

"For Freview viewers that may be experiencing loss of service or receiving poor and breaks in . This is due to unusually high atmospheric pressure which can occur at this time of year.

We have made on-air announcements to advise viewers of the problem which is affecting all broadcasters. We understand that reception will return to normal as soon as the high pressure passes."

I now have broken ITV from 31 nothing from or . I tried the UK fix mentioned in Steve's post and it didnt work for me I'm sad to say.

Getting very heavy red on the colour. Looks terrible plus occasional breaking up ever since 13th April. pointed at always has been but seem to be affected by the switch over. Got the same just before the earlier retune but it went away now it been here a lot longer. Any reason for that? BTW why are we switching to a system that is affect so much by high pressure or are we just a stupid nation at heart?

I also am using .My aerials on the ,and had no problem before wednesday.Now i cannot recieve itv1,itv2, and 5.I am using a sagem box,which i have retuned.Anyone got any ideas please as i am getting frustrated as why they have to mess around with things that were working fine before.Its typical this country.Thanks.

chris I agree, and we are all suckered into new equipment. tried to get got more about the weather! My ITV/C4 Freeview channels have disappeared - what can I do? Is it my SCART cable? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice (LN50DF)

Sorry to say the advice I as given earlier by UK didn't work for my customer either. Her Filux (Vestel)Tv and Toshiba DVD Recorder are both failing to find anything on ch31, showing at all.

All other mux are coming in OK, and it all worked fine before , and I can find no sign of any co- . I guess the question is apart from the change did anything else change yesterday?

Mike Dimmick: I've just done a check on the levels and gave 55% strength and 100% , the same as and . and gave 53% and gave 54% signal all 100% quality. My does fall off with ascending as I live in a valley.

Steve, I have put a on that I had, I am getting some but very weak, less than 14%, have been running successfully since ondigital, obviously not on the same box now but can understand why we have lost the service, tag for me says Lincoln but actually nearer Sleaford. Guess the answer is to stop watching television ;-)
