We have lost Channel 5 Analogue vision but get sound from Sudbury. Lost yesterday (16th June 2011). All other analogue channels OK and all the digital channels we have been getting are OK. Any change of Channel 5 vision signal levels or any other problem? We have a week signal in Hadleigh Suffolk but not had problem before.

I too have a Fortec Passion+ box and BBC HD disappeared without trace. Thanks to NottsUK post 8th June I altered everything and now have it running again.
I now must find Channel 4 and ITV HD

Ian: The 'HD Ready' logo indicates that the TV can show an HD source from elsewhere, it does not indicate that it can tune in to UK HD broadcasts. For that, you need a 'Freeview HD'-branded set-top box or PVR.

I'm afraid BBC West is not broadcast from the Ridge Hill transmitter, or any other transmitter that you are expected to get a usable signal from.

Terrestrial /Sudbury. after the 6th july we get +24dB c/n on every channel but the ones I want! i.e. bbc1/2 itv 1/2 etc.these are not available here according to my box which says the signal is poor.
Will they be available after the 18th july? or will some still be on low power until 2012?

l read: If you are referring to "free to view" channels via a Sky satellite box, then if he resets the box by pulling the mains plug out and waiting about 10 secs or so before re-inserting same, then once it starts to respond to the Sky button being pressed lets it go through its "searching for listings" procedure, channel 5 (105) should then have returned to normal.
