Hi, I've just moved to South Leamington and am having trouble with digital reception on some channels. Channel 4 tends to break up and BBC One HD will not work at all. I don't know much about the technical side of things, but was wondering whether this is due to the signal or whether I need to change the aerial?

Aran: You are not expected to get Freeview HD until switchover at your location.

You should be OK with the rest of the services, can you see Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice please?

Am on CV31 1LR - which would normally use the Leamington Spa repeater transmitter. However I have installed a high gain aerial and an antenna amplifer (it splits the signal for TV in 2 rooms). This is fine as it pick up a good Litchfield and Sutton Coldfield signal. There is occasional blocking.
My question, will the Litchfield digital channels be transferred to Sutton Coldfield come September?

Kevin Pugh: Only analogue Channel 5 and the preview Freeview HD service come from Lichfield. The transmitter closes at switchover.

Hello there. I can't get ITV4, Film 4 and Yesterday on either my BT Vision or on the Panasonic Freeview TV but things like Dave, BBC1, 2, 3, 4 and Channel 5US and the others (that I watch) are fine. The aerial is on the roof of my house in CV32 5DE - can you please advise? Thank you

Brian: You are missing MuxD. If you are receiving Freeview signals from Sutton Coldfield the Digital UK postcode checker predicts good reception on all muxes except MuxD on C55 which is shown as variable. This is possibly due to interference from one of the relay sites that also use this frequency. After switchover stage 2 at Sutton Coldfield on 21st September 2011 you are expected to have good reception on all muxes.

Brian: As KMJ,Derby says, it looks like interference. You're very close to the Leamington Spa relay which has BBC1 analogue on Ch56 and you're in the maximum transmission direction, so probably have adjacent channel interference at the moment.

Hi,
I'm at cv32 5hj, currently can only get the Leamington Spa Trasmitter, and the picture quality is poor.
After switchover, is it likely that I will be able to pick up the Sutton Coldfield Transmitter, too (have read interference prevents this at the moment)? Obviously the Leamington Spa transmitter will not be broadcasting the full range of channels.

Edward: Yes, you can already get a full Freeview service from Sutton Coldfield or Lark Stoke with a suitable rooftop aerial.
