HI we have a humax 9200t, and have to retune manually to get the local news on BBC and ITV - I do this by deleting the exising BBC1 and ITV 1 channels and the retuning manually on their equivalents in the 800 range. This then puts the right ones on channles 1 and 3 on the box. I had to do all this after the main switchover. But this seems to have upset the boxes ability to record ( . e.g it wont do a scheduled recording on BBC2 unlws you are watching that channel.) any clues?

ian: Try deleting all the channels in the channel list by doing a factory reset or "delete all channels". Then manually tune to the frequencies of all the muxes for your desired transmitter. At present you possibly have BBC2 from a different transmitter to that supplying BBC1.

ian: Checked it out - its horizontal and pointing southeast so must be on waltham, done the manual tune thing on the channels for waltham, doen a few test recording tries this evening and it seems ok so far.

Further to my comments at the end of September, I have left the aerial pointing to Nottingham (Kimberley) I had decided that I would do without the Sky news multiplex, as I have VM in my main room.
I decided to network the aerial signal to four tvs using a Wickes 4way amp and power supply in my loft,leaving the Televes masthead amp in place fed from the new amp power supply. I can now get almost 300 channels, with the Sky muliplex being of excellent strength and quality on two frequencies at all times in all weathers. I can also receive East mids, West mids and Yokshire news with the same quality. The best 30 quid I have spent lately!
Thought this might be of use to someone in the Eastwood area experiencing the same problems which I had.

I have a tv in the bedroom which is tuned to freeview and all channels work as expected. However each evening around 10.30pm to 11.30pm the signal to all freeview channels just disappears, and then will be back again when I check in the morning. I have tried the rescan option but it makes no difference. I thought it was my tv, but having tried a second one the same thing happens, so it must be the transmission/signal strength. any ideas what i can do about this?
