Lesley - do a factory reset on your box and retune the channels, as well as checking the connecting cables.

STV HD on satellite:- According to Wikipedia now, STV HD ceased broadcasting on satellite on 22nd June - anyone know anything about that? Shouldn't there have been an annoucement or statement as to the reasons?

Daren Game: If the picture is a bit on the snowy side then that indicates a weak signal, and so you should choose another RF output channel on the Sky box and then carry out an auto-tune on the second TV (whilst on analogue) to pick the new setting up automatically.

Being unaware of the RF channel you have chosen but from about Ch55 upwards usually gives the best results, that is provided that you dont choose a channel that clashes with a Freeview one "if" you have a normal aerial connected into the Sky boxes aerial input for purposes of feeding the remote TV with a Freeview signal as well an analogue one from the Sky boxes RF2 output.

If you provide a post code or one from nearby, then advice can be given regarding the RF channels to avoid.

As far as the magic eye is concerned, I take it that you are using the Sky boxes remote control and not the TV's, which of course will not work.

Briantist: Two more HD transponders have come live with BBC Olympic feeds. They are 12129/V/29500 and 12441/V/29500. There are four HD streams on each transponder.

Ben.First of all you did not leave a full postcode or nearby location as such, this is to ascertain the reception possibilities in your locality.
Try resetting your appliance for a start, then unplug your aerial and perform an automatic scan,it will pick up zero/nothing.
Now after this procedure plug your aerial back in and this time perform a manual scan for the multiplexes at Sudbury transmitter if you imply you receive their programming as such.It should do the trick !

I have raised a concern about no signal issue with sky but to no avail. I have been having these problems for the las five months but guess what its easy for sky to switch me off if I fail to pay in time. Its a mammoth task for yourselves to address my problems with sky service. I terribly dissapointed and now all channels are no signal. I now cannot get the general channels at all because of the nonsignal.

Teurayi Rugonye: Sky cannot cause you to experience a "no signal" warning, and indeed they have no means at their disposal to stop you viewing non-dedicated Sky programmes.

Press "services" on your remote control then 4 - 6 and check what's indicated on the signal strength / quality screen and which should be showing in excess of 60% or so on both bars, if not then the dish could have moved slightly out of alignment or water has gained access to the "F" connector plug.

Give an update on your findings when you carry out the signal check.

I have a 3-yr old LG tele - first re-tune took 3 or 4 times to get the programmes - second re-tune now - nothing at all. Has been retuned approx 12 times and still nothing.
the aerial has not been moved or damaged
the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are not damaged

it came with freeview - no separate digital box
