Richard: Its quite impossible for anyone to assist when you fail to provide your location, this in the form of a post code or one from nearby as only then can the station that covers your area be checked on, as you could be located anywhere in the UK and likewise covered by a multitude of different transmitters.

Evening,

We are in Oadby, Leicester and currently get west midlands tv and want to get east midlands tv.

Which way should I point the aerial?

It looks like it is currently pointing west, and it is a bit of a struggle to get up to shift it, so just wanted to check if its worth changing it north?

Cheers

David: Waltham is curently undergoing engineering works which, according to posts made on this website, is causing reception issues for some fringe viewers. I suggest that you wait until these are complete until you adjust your aerial. You may also wish to retain the Sutton Coldfield aerial as a backup.

For aerial information on Waltham, see:

alimahomed: If you normally receive BBC East Midlands from the Waltham transmitter, the frequency of mux BBCA has changed to C49. Try to do a manual tune for C49. Is there any signal indicated, and if so what is the quality if frequency C49 is entered into the manual tuning menu? If there is no signal found and you use a communal aerial it may be that adjustments are needed to let the new frequency through. (Ask your neighbours if anyone is having the same problem.) In that case you would need to contact the landlord or building management company for that to be carried out.
