Keith Smith: What is the make/model of the TV in question? Does it have a DVB-T2 tuner built in, or is it simply marked ""? Generally speaking if of SD BBC1 is OK the HD transmissions will be receivable from the same , subject to the TV having a suitable tuner.

OK I am in need of some serious advise.

The story goes

On Monday we had signal. At around 9.45pm the went pixelated and then . We have bypassed the box by plugging a tv straight into the . Still nothing. Yesterday we plugged a signal strength meter straight into the aerial. Reading 50 (the lowest) still no channels. We have bought a new aerial and set it up in the all the same readings. The new aerial is a 48 element.

Today I bought a new booster and supply (comes from a different room as no power in the loft) after setting everything up we managed to get a picture on 2 out of the 5 TVs in our house. 1 is watchable but the other is unwatchable (very pixelated). The other 3 have no signal. The TV's that do work have not picked up any BBC channels.

And to top it all we have had 3 different people tell is we are running off 3 different . , and . Lol I am lost

Any professional advise welcome.

Simon: Only is indicated as providing a reasonable level of at your particular location, but even at that the COM are shown as being variable, indicates almost all of its channels as being variable and with indicating OK on the BBC & the HD service but with ITV1 being variable, this latter is a limited channels PSB only .

With regards to your new / splitter, what model of device is it? the other point being that in situations such as yours "manual tuning" of the muxes is liable to bring in results over that of an auto-tune.

Oxfords muxes are / Ch53 - 60 - 57 - 62 - 59 - 55

Another point to note being, that if carrying out a manual tune then as soon as the channel number to is entered into the box the signal level of that channel entered will immediately appear in the level bar if you do NOT press search or scan.

Just discovered, the hard way, that programme 25 (Dave ja vu) has been moved from channel 59- (ArqA) to Channel 62 (SDN) so you need to re-tune. List of programmes against channels above need updating.

Unable to receive any BBCA, ArqA or ArqB in OX14 4AX. d3+4 & SDN channels fine.
Normally have good / on all mux.
No works indicated on so presumably down to weather conditions......?

I can't get radio on my Humax. I've switched it off, switched it back on again, retuned it...

But the only stations that show up in the 700-range are:
790: (coming soon), and
791: Dave ja vu.

Can anyone throw any light on this please?

Is there a 'configuration' option in the menu? Often after I've retuned my kitchen Toshiba, I need to find the appropriate menu and check that the '' option hasn't reset itself to 'TV only' instead of 'Show All'.

Your user manual should explain how to do this.
There might be a "TV/radio" button under the sliding cover. Press this to switch between radio and TV .
Any recorded radio programmes appear in the "audio" rather than the "" list.

Please post a question, answer or commentIf you have Freeview reception problems before posting a question your must first do this Freeview reset procedure then see: Freeview reception has changed, Single frequency interference, and Freeview intermittent interference.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
