BT Sport 1 and 2: free TV, for some... Sky Sports 1 free, for all, for day

Changes to the pay TV services provided over the digital terrestrial network will provide the two new BT Sports channels in place of Sky Sports 1 and 2. But you can also get the channels for free if you have a Sky box - as long as you have a card.

You can get the two channels for free if you are a BT Broadband customer.

If you rescan your Freeview channel list, there are now three new allocations on the COM6 multiplex.

To provide these channels, BT will be moving the Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 channels to online services.

BT Sports 1 and 2 - including HD - for Free for a year

You don't have to pay to get BT Sports 1 and 2 - but you DO need to be a BT Broadband customer.

If you are a BT Broadband customer, you can opt to watch the channels from DTT, or you can watch using a Sky box, as long as you have a viewing card (click on BT.com - Personal - Start your order ). You don't need to be a current subscriber. See Digital TV Packages with BT Vision - MyBT Broadband.

Sky Sports 1 for free. For one day only. Saturday 17th August.

The means everything from Soccer AM via Soccer Saturday to Saturday Night Football for free for the day. See Sky Sports kick off biggest Premier League season with free first day - Football Features, Music, Team of the Week, Twitter, Fantasy - Sky Sports.

I'm a long-standing BT Vision customer having subscribed from virtually day 1 of the service.
My subs included Sports which with a special card allowed me to watch Setanta Sports. This channel bit the dust and soon afterwards was replaced with ESPN via Freeview.
This channel was recently withdrawn and moved to the Internet.
After a dozen hour long phone calls to BT I managed to get an "App" which lets me watch ESPN on my computer.
We subscribed initially so we could watch baseball. As it's broadcast in the small hours this was recorded on the BT box.
How can we record baseball now?
I have Win 7 Ultimate.
Can I use Windows Media Centre???

Allan: As far as I know you can't record from the app. Is there no "watch again" in the app?
