Briantist: my telly works via a you view box and out door antenna. I get signal from Emley moor because I want Yorkshire rather than Tyne tees I live near Thirsk . BBC Yorkshire keeps dropping out and goes onto Tyne tees. ITV Yorkshire never alters any suggestions please. I have retuned numerous times but lost it again yesterday.

Lawry: It might be useful to know the make and model number of your YouView box, this being to give more specific suggestions.

I don't have much first-hand experience, but if there is a setting to prefer one particular network or region, then this might want turning on. Or perhaps there is a setting to enable/disable automatic updates (adding of new services) - this can't always be turned off.

Dave Lindsay: humax dtr1000. Have changed box recently as previous did same or that's what I thought. Before BBC Yorkshire dropped out signal lost strength and tele went onto Tyne tees BBC. mast is nearer (Bilsden) But signal strength stayed up on ITV coming from Emley moor. Bilsden is 180 deg from Emley.

Your help please - because I was getting very bad signals on my tv stations a friend helped me by making an adjustment via the 'remote'. Although that has improved the situation slightly I now cannot get Freeview 725 on my tv and I have gone through all he channels but without success. Can you please advise - thanks.

Joy Reynolds: we need a postcode, to find out where you are in relation to the transmitter. next, check signal levels and which transmitter your actually tuned into, and then check the cables - are they loose, etc.
