Anne West: Check your signal strength - could be too high, but possibly more likely, too low, because your aerial system might have a fault.

Mr Michael D Archer:

I am confused by your query. DAB reception does not use, or should not, your TV aerial as DAB services ae=re on completely different frequencies. But are you meaning that reception of Radio services via Freeview is poor? I also wonder whether that particular radio service is carried on Freeview.

DAB not working too well this morning due to lift'.
I live near Stonehenge and can normally receive Gold' on the Berks and North Hants multiplex without issue but reception is currently almost impossible. SDL multiplex is a bit choppy' and bit error rates on national BBC multiplex are increased from zero to low 20s.
London 2' (12A) is receivable with some chop', London 1' and 3' stations are showing in the tuning list but don't connect, likewise with some Dutch stations. Stations on the Paris 2 multiplex (frequency 6A) are coming in loud and clear'.
I've had this happen with FM but this is the first time I've seen DAB do this.

I live in Hull, and for many years, DTV reception has been bad. REALLY bad. Analogue signals were perfect, but digital signals are often choppy and mostly broken. Any help? Wires seem to be fine.

Haltwhistle

Hi.

I live in NE49 9LR. Haltwhistle has 3000 residents. We have no DAB reception at all.

What an outrage! I just bought a DA radio on the advice of the BBC radio trails and it won't gte a single station. This is 2018!!! What plans are there?

Thanks for any advice. I'm pretty mad at this.

Kington

My Mum lives in a nursing home in Kington, Herefordshire. Postal code HR5 3BA.

She loves classical music, and relies on the radio, as she's cognitively/physically disabled, and can't operate a CD player. She has terrible reception with regular radio, and terrible reception with DAB radio. I'm desperate to get her a DAB digital radio that would work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I use a DAB radio and have an excellent reception on all stations, except for Radio Scotland. It has a very poor reception at times, I must admit it's not all of the time but when it is at it's poorest it's not worth while having Radio Scotland on.
