MikeP: Just had a brand new system fitted by a very good recommended fitter, plus a brand new TV, still have problems, there is no answer saving the building of a . I find the here in BA22 8TX rubbish. I used to live in Belfast with a fantastic signal from , I was looking straight at the from BT4 1PJ, so always had a great .

Take a look at the UK for your location. You will find it at Coverage Checker - Detailed View That shows your location should have excellent from . However, you might be getting signals from one of the other available transmitters, so please check that you are tuned to the correct for Mendip as shown on that website.

In addition to what MikeP has said (you need to enter your TV's Programme Tuning Settings section - see your manual) you may need to check that you don't in fact have TOO MUCH . If you find that you have 100% signal but somewhat less than 100% on the strongest muxes, then Too Much signal is a likely possibility. is also another possibility in this situation as mentioned by MikeP in his post on the 22nd May, there is a mobile phone 310m from you according to the UKFreeTV map.

Our postcode is BS27 3DT in . We can only get Devon and local news rather than Somerset. Do you know why this is and what we can do about it please? I say "we" as there are 55 flats in the building...

Jackie: If you're receiving Devon & regional news then your is pointed at the transmitter rather than . To change this would require the aerial to be realigned (or replaced if it isn't a type) and pointed at Mendip.

Please put your full post code into the UK Coverage Checker at Digital UK - Coverage checker That will tell what are available in your location. Remember that some parts of south Bristol do not receive from but may be using Kings Weston Hill or one of the other local . The Coverage checker will tell you which are available at your location and whther they are expected to give reliable service.

The colour of the dispklayed bars on that website will indicate just how poor of variabole it is likely to be. Only local technical , such as an installer, are likely to have any idea of how variable it might be at you specific location.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'
