Hi, when we moved into our house 4 1/2 years ago there was a dish already attached to the house. I bought a freesat receiver a few days ago and tried to connect this to the dish with not even one channel being picked up!

As we are doing a loft extension at the moment I thought this and the scaffolding might be the problem and even used a clothes line for the dish and still no signals. Also bought a sattelite finder for a tenner and no results.

Could the dish be the problem? It only has one F connection.

Hi,

When we moved into our house over 4 years ago there was already a sattelite dish attached. We assumed this was a Sky dish (we never subscrbed) and recently I bought a Feesat Humax receiver.

However the receiver did not detect any channels and I then removed the dish and set it up in the garden using a clothes line but still no channel detection. I have even bought a cheap sattelite finder and still nothing.

Could there be something wrong with the dish?

Thanks in advance?

Hi,

When we moved into our house 4 1/2 years ago there was already a sattelite dish installed which we thought might be Sky's.

I recently bought a Humax Foxsat receiver and tried to connect this sattelite to the receiver but no channels were found. I even tried placing the dish on a clothes line and use a sattelite finder but stilll no luck.

Could there be something wrong with the dish? Many thanks.
