I'm based in Nottingham (Sherwood Rise area) and I'm currently obtaining no signal at all from Ch56 (754MHz) or Ch58 (770MHz). Intermittent signals from Ch31 (554MHz). And low signal quality on Ch26 (514MHz).

Hi MikeP,
Regardless of where the information comes from I can confirm that it's not correct for the Waltham transmitter. We are still using: 26, 29, 31, 37, 49, 54, 56, 57 and 58. The "700Mhz clearance" has not happened for us yet and the proposed new multiplexes are not active.

The channels/multiplexes you have directly listed above (see example image) are: 26, 29, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37, 55 and 56, which is incorrect.

As mentioned previously post, [b]currently[/b] the correct channels/multiplexes are: 26, 29, 31, 37, 49, 54, 56, 57 and 58.
This is my transmitter. I scan the multiplexes manually so I know exactly what they are!

For my sins I'm the oldest person at my place of work and the only one who owns a TV. All six of my co-workers (some with kids) have no intention of owning a TV.
They do however, all watch TV via internet catch-up services on their laptops and tablets. And some have said they'd only be interested in purchasing a larger screen if it offered 'Smart' services with no TV tuner!
Sufficed to say, the idea of (being forced into) purchasing a TV licence is lost on young people, indeed they'd rather use the money on a monthly Netflix and/or Amazon Prime subscription instead. Meaning such a mind-set does not bode well for the BBC!
