I have a response to my email of 10 July. It's similar to John's as reported on 8 July. Mast operator reports no issues, info passed to infrastructure team, will contact me again if they have anything to say. Ho hum.

There has been a change; I've quoted details.
It might be within their specs and I can live with it. Good luck.

It's fixed. The mysterious extra video streams in the ITV/CH4/CH5 mux have gone away. Good for the 'infrastructure team'!

The signal structure reverted to its original form, and your pictures returned, a few hours after my email with stream analyses was passed to the 'infrastructure team'. Maybe you think that's a coincidence. :-)

I'm glad that the people at Arquiva did what they did, and that you're viewing again.

When the service seemed to be back to normal I sent another email to say so and to thank my correspondent (at itv.com) for his help. I've just had a reply, which says, in part

"Im very pleased to hear that you can now access all services once again.

As previously advised, there was no problem with the signal leaving our Transmission centre. However, as I hope youll understand, Im unable to discuss further details."

Just for info... I posted here on 27 March about transmissions from Waltham on the qpsk mux at 514 MHz/ old Channel 26. My computer sees them but although my 2012-model Panasonic TV sees the signal it cannot tune to the programmes The TV sofware is up-to-date. At that time I thought that perhaps these channels were marked as 'hidden', but now that Notts TV has launched this seems unlikely..

Ihave posted twice here about the inability of my Panasonic TV, series E5, to tune the new NottsTV qpsk mux, despite various cycles of rescanning. I haven't seen any other reports of this, but I asked about it in John Lewis yesterday. In the discussion I mentioned that I had disabled the 'New channels found' notification, which had been popping up implausibly often. They suggested that it might be worth re-enabling it. I did, and after another rescan I can now tune NottsTV(8), POP(75) and Chart Show TV(67). Other changes might have been made here too, but at least the TV can now decode the signals.
