I have a Humax F2 FOXT box and live in Brighton. I've retuned the box and can't receive a number of channels (including BBC1, BBC2 and BBC3 although BBC4 is fine). I have a Panasonic TV with a Freeview receiver running off the same aerial via a simple splitter and that is fine. I get a "no or bad signal" message for the BBC channels. Any ideas?

Thanks Dave, according to the preferences the UHF channel was set to 60. The signal strength was running at 59% for BBC1 and around 67% for other channels. As I said. most other channels are fine and I have all channels working fine off the same aerial on the Freeview tuner on my Panasonic TV.

I followed your link and did a reset to default values and a retune. BBC now seems set to 24 and although I'm getting BBC1 and 2 it's pixellated with a lot of interference and I'm still getting the message "no or bad signal". The signal strength is 34%.

Now I can't find a way to change BBC1 back to 60. When I look at the UHF parameter it says 60 but checking the channel it seems set to 24 again.

I'll give Humax a ring on Monday.

Thanks for your help!

Dave, sorry for the delay in replying but I've been a bit busy this week.

Before trying your suggestion of removing the cable (it's a pain getting to the rear of the unit!) I did another reset back to default and another retune.

And for some reason it's all working OK now.

Thanks for your help and advice and I hope the next retune on March 21st is less traumatic!

Cheers

Dick
