Sorry to learn that so many seem to be having problems. For me in Wetherby (LS22) the switchover went without a problem. The only small problem was that I first picked up East Yorkshire channel 21 for the new BBCA mux, but deleting the channels and doing a manual scan for channel 47 put that right. The only query I have is that signal strength on all five new muxes (I do not have HD so do not get BBCB on channel 51) has only risen from 75% before to 80-81% (quality remains at 100%) - I would have expected a higher signal strength than 80% now. Why has signal strength only gone up that much?

Re the filter that may be needed when the 4G networks start using the 800MHz frequencies in 2013 I thought it had yet to be decided if they would be supplied free or if consumers will have to buy one - at least that is what I was told at a meeting at Ofcom only a week ago. Do you have some extra information, Brian T, that leads you to think they will be free? Admittedly they are not going to cost much.

The signal quality on the HD channels seem to be fluctuating this afternoon, whereas the non HD channels are fine. Can anyone suggest why the HD channels might be affected in this way?

Surprised that nobody has answered my query, and indeed there seems very little activity here at the moment. That said, the signal problem on the HD channels seems a lot better now, which does make me wonder if they were carrying out some work we are not being told about. Is the 4G roll out planned for next year going to require any retuning for those who take their signal from Emley Moor?

Mark, Thanks for that - most helpful. I have been told that the clearance of the 700 MHz spectrum is by no means a done deal at the present time, so I guess we wait and see.

Mike Davison: The channel list by mutiplex for Emley Moor appears to be missing. As this is my local transmitter and I wanted to see if there are any changes tomorrow - March 22 - this is a bit annoying. I can get the pages for Bilsdale and Belmont but not Emley Moor.
