Derek: CCTV is a data channel.you need a box/TV that is WiFi enabled .you then go on line and log in.there is a new data section on the freeview TV guide now.most data channels are free but a few are ppv,such as boxnation,etc

Brian: when the TV channels changes are completed in 2020, the winter hill tx is reported to be all group A channels,not group C?At present we have 2 of them re: 31 & 37. Will the power outputs be similar or will we suffer yet again? At present we get all the MXs apart from the LOCALS or low power ones which are limited as directional. My aerial seems satisfactory at present.my pc is cw14pz. Nev,crewe

Granada ITV channels etc all missing all day on Dec 31,back on by late afternoon.meanwhile TV retuned itself to moel y parc where it could - obviously some channels too weak to watch. TV retuned itself again back to winter hill later on....

Nev Jack: the high pressure new year week certainly caused some havoc with my TV retuning itself nearly every day to either the Wrekin or moel y parc for BBC and ITV where it could as some channels just too weak...the winter hill "rejects" ended up in the 800s section on my tv. luckily the HD channels stayed ensitu...seems to have settled down now, although there is a new high pressure predicted for this weds....

I use the winter hill tx.this is,(was), a group c/d. now we have muxes on Ch 31/37! Soon these will be on group a, I think in 2020? This will be unecessary expense for hundreds of folk for new aerials,100s of pounds. All because of a money greedy government! When are we to be considered?
