Retuned JLP-Model No JL26 yesterday. No signal on BBC1, 2 etc. Channel 53 - no signal.
Called Digital UK but could not sort out - said go to manufacturer... still waiting for reply.
Neighbours on modern, communal aerial OK.
Any suggestions?

Thanks Brian.
I was beginning to come to the same conclusion...
Now, I am wondering how much attenuation I need?

Brian, thanks again.
I ordered variable attenuator, as recommended.
Of course, this will pull down all the channels, so C68 may be weak for a while... We will see!
As an aside, shops are full of amplifiers but no attenuators - yet!
Today I will try another TV on the same aerial.

Yes you guessed it! The other (oldish) TV tuned all the channels. So, the John Lewis (Linsar) has a problem...

Attenuator didn't work. C53 still gives a 'no signal' indication. Assume it is the (nearly new) Freeview TV set at fault.
Could the high signal strength have 'blown' the TV amplifier?

JB38: Thanks, I will give that a try before I chuck the TV out of the (upstairs) window!

jb38: Just an update. Couldn't tune any channel below 29. Now, awaiting the engineer...
