HI,
Those 2 channels are actually on different muxes.
There are 6 muxes that carry different channels.
You can sometimes have 1 mux being received perfectly well and another not so well.
This could be down to the aerial location, age of aerial, age of cable, too much signal not enough signal, poor quality signal etc etc
I am an approved installer local to you so if you wish to have a system test give me a call.

another bit of advice.
Its not always the highest point for good reception
sometimes you can fit on another part of the building and get a better line of sight
even a different corner of the chimney can make the difference

You cannot combine satellite and freeview into 1 receiver.
You will need 2 separate receivers.
If you want Freesat you will need a BBC Freesat receiver from argos, currys etc or a sky box with a SKY Freesat card (these cards are from sky).

You cannot get a Freeview sat
you have Freeview via an aerial or Freesat via a dish
If you have Freesat then you need a cable from the dish to each location that you have a tv and will also need a freesat receiver at each tv
With regards to retuning your tv regularly this is a waste of time, if you have reception issues then retuning will simply delete and add channels according to what the system can see at the time of the retune.
It definitely does not fix your reception issues.

Not all faults are related to transmitters and there are no systems that last forever without upgrades or maintenance.

If your working tv is receiving through a digi box then you may have an issue with your reception.
A tv tuner needs a minimum of 45db to work correctly
A digi box needs a minimum of 40db to work correctly
This difference means that a digi box will perform better than a tv tuner.
Also some tv brands can cope better with poor reception.
You could try moving the tv that doesn't work to the same location where you have a working tv, if your channels work in that location then there are issues with wiring to the other locations

Hi,
In your location you will be using the Rowridge transmitter.
There are lots of things that can cause loss of channels.
tv tuner
aerial
cable from aerial
any amps or splitters
outlet plate
connector on the cables
The transmitter has no issues so if you are going to try repairing yourself you should answer these
do you have more than 1 tv
if so then do the others work
do you have an amp that might be switched off
If so then you should think about replacing the amp for a splitter as reception is strong in your location
Is the cable or connections damaged?
are there any signs of damage to the aerial?

INFORMATION :)
I have had a customer this week who has had minor issues for some time, like others has had major issues this week.
I went there on Thursday and all was working apart from the minor issues they previously had which was down to a very very old aerial.
Fitted a new aerial on this house with a new amp and also 4G filter.
I asked them to monitor the reception and checked back in with them today.
They have had zero issues, all minor issues gone and more importantly when all you others have been having major issues they have had perfect reception.
Obviously the new aerial fixed the minor issues they was getting but other than that they should have still been getting major issues when everyone else did if this was down to the transmitter.
Could the difference actually be that they have a 4G filter fitted, not really sure what the role out currently is on the 4G transmission.
Just an idea but maybe some of you should get a local installer to do a free signal test :)
