Ron Bouttell: Have you previously had a signal on the HD channels or are you trying to get them for the first time? If the latter, please post your make and model of the TV.

You should not retune, just wait for the channels to come back.

Terry Noakes: BBCA and ArqB muxes changed their frequency on the Angus transmitter overnight, so you'll need to retune/reset box to get the channels back.

ROBERT PLANT: EE 4G is not currently using frequencies which interfere with TV signals, so you should not need to contact anyone until 4G in the 800MHz band goes live.

Terry Noakes: Try menu > setup > shipping conditions for the Panasonic, and menu > installation > default setting for the Humax?
What happens if you do a manual retune for channel 49 or 60?
Obviously the reason you're not getting 116 channels is because your equipment isn't picking up the new frequencies.

Kate: It will be back on after you retune your Freeview equipment.

Neil Bingham: I must've missed the memo which states that the licence fee goes towards providing anything but the BBC channels on Freeview, could you show me it please?

HD channels have been available from every single transmitter since switchover, and it's totally free if you have a Freeview HD TV.

David Rogers: No, it would be like getting a bad pint when there's a hundreds of thousands of other customers sitting about enjoying their own pint...

I'm not sure what kind of answer you wanted from the BBC? They are responsible for the signal getting to you, but if you local installation doesn't work, then it's not their job to send an engineer out.

You've already said that you helped retune an elderly neighbour, so it's not the signal. You probably don't need a booster (don't know how far you are from Winter Hill), just get a qualified aerial installer out so they can use their equipment to check the signal.

Jayne: There were messages on the screen from a week before the 10th of April retune event.

Obviously if you missed them, the sensible thing to do would be to speak to others to see if they were missing channels, or use the internet to find out if there was a problem in the NW area.

dave: If your receiver only stores 5 multiplexes then it will be impossible to get those 13 channels as they on 6 different multiplexes (which is why Dave showed you that link).
