I can see the sense in using nominal power levels for the featured list above.With a set of two frequencies for each transmitter taken from a group of only six frequencies.
For example,at high pressure,i can see co-channel issues between Sutton Coldfield and Belmont in my working area.

So i take it that Ridge Hill wil still transmit
ITV West Mids,omni-directionally,and The new
West Country east ITV service,directionally?

I see that ofcom are saying that Crystal Palace and Sutton Coldfield could be broadcasting Com 7 by December this year.
Will Com 8 be broadcasting soon after?

Following on from Trevor Harris's comment above.
It will be interesting to see the viewing figures of some of these city broadcasters.
I was involved locally in trying to set up a community radio station in my locality.Our initial aim was to hopefully buy a license and broadcast on FM.
Since i left to date the only produced work,are audio/visual pieces via the net.

Stuart Owens:Interested to hear your listening/reception results from the closure of MXR West Mids,in your area.
You should have nothing to fear from adjacent channel blocks on DAB,eg10B,10C,10D,though,this should not be a reception issue!

Yes,it appears at Sutton Coldfield,at least,BBC Three and CBBC HD banners are being broadcast from the existing BBCB/HD mux on Channel 40.Likewise,The Wrekin on Channel 30.Coming Soon!
