£650 is bloody scandalous even on the posh wealthy south coast. My view is that this page needs more promotion, particularly the last few posts, you haven't named the scam Co. so there's nothing they can do, and Avensys aren't going to be annoyed when you are praising them. A little bit more publicity and the scammers will soon be out of business. Shame your friend retired and let this noodle take charge. He has now ruined a good quality business by sheer greed.

David Parker,

I have been unable to try much of anything as I have been admitted to Pinderfields Hospital four times since Christmas and am still recovering slowly. Starting to get a little bit done now, but some of the painting is STILL on hold I'm afraid. Thanks for your interest, and my apologies to everyone for being 'off topic'.

Just done a retune, 95% strength with 100% quality across the board. Things may be looking up. When you think about it, they are really taking their time sorting things, it's been nowt but bother since DSO.

As it is now well over two years since DSO, how come it is taking so much sorting out? Are the problems occurring because of this 4G usage?

Mike Davison, Thank you for your timely reply.

I am referring to this continual messing about at Emley Moor. Yet again, we are to expect these interruptions during the coming week as reported at the head of the page.

The SD transmissions appear to be excellent, ref. my 06.46 AM post 10/12/2013. Does this Engineering work warning just refer to HD perhaps?

Is it at all possible for Radio Ham or CB to interfere, especially if the power has been boosted by the users?

I was learning to drive when this was being built and we went up to Emley Moor every day to see the progress. They had a board on the end of one of the site huts recording the height on that particular day. Wish I had taken pictures.

And unlike the shard was NOT financed by the saudis lol. Forgot to mention. I was learning in a BUS, strange sight at the side of the building site, a bus with 'L' plates haha. Dave, I was referring to the metal one that fell down by the way. I am now almost 70. I reckon it was only standing for about 10 years. Not sure just how long they were 'off air' but I believe the BBC were the first back on, a very weak and watery signal from an outside broadcast 60 foot 'Eagle Tower.

Becca, You do not need to sign anything for FREEview. Maybe one of the other guys can tell you of repeaters for Emley Moor. There were a number of them like Bramley, Idle, even a transposer at HMP Armley, but since DTV came in, I'm not sure what is operating now.
