Hi, I'm a pensioner living in Mackworth close to Derby, Derbyshire. After paying for a new aerial when I moved in 5 years ago & getting good reception of BBC & Freeview, a couple of weeks ago my signal strength dropped drastically. My aerial seems to be pointing towards the Little Eaton transmitter, which I think is BBC. I've seen something on this site about changes from 2017 to 2020 due to 4G transmission for mobile phones coverage. Will my signal strength improve if I use a signal booster box between the aerial plug and my TV or due to the complications of what is happening to the transmitters necessitate another aerial installation. I do not watch a llot of television because I spend a lot of my time making art & ceramics and quite frankly the programs & ubiquitous Hollywood style American "Movies" hold absolutely no interest for me. So when there is that rare time when there is something compelling, I'm now totally annoyed that someone's changed the system with no advance warning in technical terms that can be understood by the general public. Any advice or to whom I might make a complaint would be very much appreciated
