There are farm buildings 50mts. away in the same direction with metal roofs and cladding, wondered if this could contribute. Ironically Yagi is pointing almost at Chesterfield transmitter, yet this doesn't transmit Radio Sheffield!

Hope Valley
My location appeared hopeless for reception of BBC Radio Sheffield. Shadowed by a nearby hill for Crosspool and Clifton transmitters.
Yet with a 6 element Yagi pointed almost 45 degrees East of Sheffield I get full strength signal and quality @ 100%.
Any explanations?
