why is bbc radio scotland not on dab from dumfries south transmitter? we are in scotland here and wish to have our national station programs or it is no good buying a dab receiver.

I found I could plug in my redundant Sky box into lnb1 out and watch their progs. - but only if not using Humax ( handy if there is a channel on free sky that is not on Freesat )of course you need a cable from skybox to tv.

the dab service here in sw scotland does not broadcast bbc radio scotland except in very few locations. apparently this is not considered to be important enough ( i.e. not a national station but "only" a regional one ) to put out in dab despite frequent announcements on the airwaves quoting "on fm,am & digital radio"

why could the BBC have not retained radio 2, 3,4,and Scotland on freesat? I had been glad to have them on freesat when freeview dropped them in favour of BBC Alba.

BBC radio scotland are forever saying to me "on 88 to 91 fm, 810 medium wave ,& ON DIGITAL radio" this may be true in a few places but not on digital here in Dumfries now that they have removed the radio from both freeview & now freesat. this really annoys me.

BBC Radio Scotland is on 92 - 95 fm, I stand corrected as I just mis remembered it.
however the digital is on TV since I retuned my freesat box,but is not on digital radio transmitter here in Dumfries so their statements on radio between prog announcements is incorrect.

when are we ever to get dab bbc radio scotland in dumfries? I can see no sign of it on the above list.

elinor - I connected a Sky box to the lnb out of my Humax Foxsat hdr and found I could only use it when the humax was not being used to watch or record from lnb1. otherwise the sky box said " no signal ".
