braintist, cheers for reply, have switched of devices, taken airiel feed direct to one tv, retried on that tv and no better. we have two airiels one pointed at belmont and one at waltham, (we wanted central ITV)we have always had good digital reception from both. 100 plus channels, down to 57 since the 13th

I have been doing manual retuning at various points in the day
if you follow the link in the Mike Dimmick post you get to this for ITV

"For Freview viewers that may be experiencing loss of service or receiving poor picture quality and breaks in reception. This is due to unusually high atmospheric pressure which can occur at this time of year.

We have made on-air announcements to advise viewers of the problem which is affecting all broadcasters. We understand that reception will return to normal as soon as the high pressure passes."

I now have broken ITV from channel 31 nothing from C29 or C33. I tried the digital UK fix mentioned in Steve's post and it didnt work for me I'm sad to say.

Steve, I have put a booster on that I had, I am getting some signal but very weak, less than 14%, have been running digital successfully since ondigital, obviously not on the same box now but can understand why we have lost the service, tag for me says Lincoln but actually nearer Sleaford. Guess the answer is to stop watching television ;-)

still nothing for me, agree with obsidian_eclipse why are there so many of us with this problem

we are almost perfectly placed between the two transmitters, Belmont - 36.5km 22.7 miles
Waltham - 36.4km 22.6 miles. Have been using digital services for years no problem and had upgraded equipment to receive HD this year. All was great until the 13th. It now seems neither is delivering a strong enough signal for us to get ITV, yet both deliver strong enough signal for BBC Lincs Yorks or East Mids. We have no RF devices, I have done full factory reset on Akura TV Phillips TV and Samsung TV. Does anyone know if the strengh of the signal reduced with this change?
