BBC News HD has been active (Testing) on Satellite for several days, it's 1080i but looks like upscaled SD. BBC3 HD and BBC4 HD are active in programs testing tonight, previously just test cards and DD5.1 audio test, both do look like 1080i

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, Sky placeholders have appeared with captions advising programs start at 8:30am.

Currently BBC3 HD on 210, BBC4 HD on 211, BBC News HD on 570, CBeebies HD on 624 and CBBC HD on 633.

I guess they will swap with their SD equivalents when the service starts.

I can think of 1 BBC Region that gets BBC1 HD - N. Ireland. I suppose you could also include Wales, but AIUI, parts of N. Wales are served from England transmitters. I believe that Scotland has 2/3 regions, so BBC1 HD Scotland is not applicable for all.

Do you have any Air Dates for these new DAB transmitters? I ask because today TMS (or should that be ODI S) on BBC 5Lx worked much better in central Lincoln than it ever has before - I'm wondering if the Lincoln transmitter is testing or if it was just a good day.

How will the funding be affected if Scotland goes for Independence, or put another way, does the License fees collected from Scotland cover the full cost of Scottish operation, is there a shortfall or a surplus?

@Steve, During the Analogue days, in the area to the South of Lincoln, Waltham was always affected by High Pressure with signals from the South and West blasting through (That's the direction the Aerials point), I used to often get perfect pictures from TVS/Meridian (Hannington transmitter, Hampshire) and Central (Oxford). Are you sure that you are not on the Waltham transmitter?

There has been a lot of DSO related work on the DAB and FM transmitters, does that mean the radio DSO is imminent?

In Bridlington can you get a signal from Scarborough or Bilsdale? Sometimes secondary or even tertiary transmitters can be a better option.
