Brian - So does that mean that the box comes from you, not from the OS/Browser?

I can't beleive I am the only one who gets it?

Unless they are both in roughly the same direction, it should simply be a matter of using a sufficiently high gain aerial, accurately pointed.

As you probably know, but others may not, "gain" is basically about the extent of directional precision, and comes at the price of demanding more accurate pointing. Tricky in the digital age unless you have equipment, because the traditional "left a bit, Fred" to a man doing the pointing is far harder for digital because you do not get a clear transition to and from best signal, and the equipment inserts delayed responses.

Another consideration is the frequencies at which your ae works best - "Groups"

Brian - thinking about it, the ideal would be to be told when was the last successful update.

But it is really not a big problem requiring you to spend much time on.

You can't riot on your own but you can run amok or go beserk; depending if you are inclined more to SE Asia or Scandinavia.

Signal strength/quality - how about integrity, or interpretability?
