My Luxor Lux-dvbt2-690 can no longer receive HD channels since some alteration from the Winter Hill Bolton station.
I understand this is a software problem and that there may be a software upgrade, if so, how do I perform this.

Yes but Your TV Manchester will cover other nearby towns, who are steadfastly NOT Manchester.

As will the Liverpool channel, try telling those from Southport they are Liverpool and expect their wrath.
