i now have reception issues since this lowestoft relay has gone live!! i have now lost UHF CH59 from Tacolneston as the Lowestoft Relay uses CH60, i now get my ITV etc from Lowestoft and it drops out!! im too close to the lowestoft relay!! looks like an attenuator needs to go inline, serves me right for having a masthead preamp and booster in the loft!
Now if i take aerial out, and use a piece of wire, Volia! i can get ITV CH5 from Lowestoft without dropout!

that is correct dave, I live on the south side of the college, doesnt affect my signals from tacolneston, well!!!! until switchover!! Lowestoft UHF now attenuates my signal from Tacolneston a lot!! i now get no signal on CH55 nor CH59!!!

i have tried a variable attenuator. and removing preamp. aerial is pointing at tacolneston but local relay frequencies drowning out tacolnestons signal to my tvs. shame they were put so close. i only pick up bbc and itv via local relay now and it drops out yet its only across the road.i am too close. . thinking of combining the existing rooftop and installing a loft vertical to across the road hehehe

John Read: I am in Lowestoft, Hawthorn Av, bog standard aerial no amp, and I just done a signal test on my LG Smart TV, and signals are normal (very good) even HD Mux. (100 strength, 97% quality) I wonder if a band pass filter would help? I suspect you maybe experiencing drop outs caused by local interference from another frequency.....that is affecting ch55
