Hi Briantist,
Can u tell me why i get only the BBC radio 1,2,3,4 etc on Dab and no commercial stations like Clyde and West FM.
It was only a couple of months ago my mate let me know that u could pick up Dab 90% signal wise . No one lets u know in the "wee toons".
We also just got Freeview last month although hardly any channels. Do u know if or when more will be added as it's Sky tv that has a monopoly in this town.Costs a fortune!! I came from Killie with everything on your doorstep lol.
Cheers

Hi,
Thanks for the previous responses!
Its all aboot the type of aerials.
I,ve did some deep researching and its showing up that the Rosneath is including my house in its range so would i be right in saying i need a Group c/d aerial? Wide band or not?
Also will get a rooftop dab aerial. Any certain type or spec?
Thanks

Cheers Dave,
I myself dont think i,ll recieve the signal , it's cause the Largs is only Freeview Light.....wast of time.
I,ve had Sky for 13 years and lived in Kilmarnock and Ayr....all with great services but in wee Largs well its as you say Freesat or pay through the nose for Sky who have the fastest broadband...ahhhh!
I'll just need to buy a 82mt pole for mt aerial lol.

StevensOnln1: No the TV tax license is to watch the BBC channels and listen to BBC audio channels!. A pay or go to jail tax, no give either way. I watch mostly sport which is ever increasingly on subscription channels which the government wouldn't dare think of....... Because it's a choice to the person who paid tax to buy a TV and ultimately should have the right to decide which TV Channels they want to PAY for, not what the government demands for a handful of channels since TV reception began.
Where is that person's human rights when to watch and pay for what they decide to watch!
I myself now live in a freeview light area which makes my case even more relevant.
With expanding media streaming ect choice should be with the consumer, not the government.
Thank you

If you are going to reply by saying it's for the payment towards the transmitters, then take off the revenue that goes towards paying for the channels that I would not choose to watch.
CHOICE!
