Just installed new Tv for a friend and she complained that she had lost her Film4 channel from her Sony Freeview Recorder. this is on Sutton Coldfield about 15 Miles North.
Checked and retuned and is missing. Checked on her new Ferguson 19" which I had also installed for her and found that Channel 15 from Sutton Coldfield was just visible but on very low power giving a very poor signal. Whats up? Is it a consequence on the Switch over preps?#
I've also checked my Topfield PVR and it's gone from their as well. Also on my Samsung.

Five minutes later. Just checked again tonight and it seems to be back! Why don't they put some info up if they are running on reduced power on one channel?

Information. What is the new services locations on the new layout after switchover?
You show the interim position of Muxes after 7 Sep which means a retune for the next 14 days before having to do it again!
The reason I'm asking is that Mux NEW8 is so far out of the current layout that many of us might need new aerials to receive it. However if there aren't any useful services on it I shan't bother!

Where can I find the channel layout for Freeview on Sutton Coldfield after switchover is complete?
You don't seem to have it linked on this page.

Humax man: Just checked my HDR-FoxT2 and Channel 39 gives 618MHz,8MHz,8K,1/32
Strength 81%, Quality 100% using Signal Checker.

You don't give you Post Code (mine is DE13 so about 8-9 mile from Sutton C but it's nearly in visible range). Have you got the Fox first in the chain from the aerial feed as recommended? If you have it would suggest your unit could have a faulty tuner. Rare I know but "when all options have been examined etc." I guess you've checked the signal cable is home and the connector is tight on the co-ax.

Also you don't say whether this problem is new or long standing.
Have you updated the System Software to the latest Rev. There was some suggestion that the decoding software had been updated to cover the change in Modulation system but I'm not sure about it. Humax were not very informative about what had been altered, only what new facilities they had added (new stuff in TV Portal etc).

Sorry not to have been more certain what you have wrong.
