Thanks for your advice Mike Dimmick. I looked at the First Time Installation instructions for my tv and noticed it said to wait for 20 seconds after retuning before pressing any buttons,so as to allow the new channel information to be stored. This corrected the problem of losing channels after switching to standby. What a silly boy am I!

My TV loses most of the channels, ch. 10 and upwards when I switch to stand by. I have to retune every time I switch on. Any advice would be much appreciated. Aerial is on roof.
