Dear Brianist, Thanks for the link. Mux D was working last night (13/2/11) but was not working this afternoon (14/2/11) It is working tonight (14/2/11). It is all very strange. I haven't rescanned as the EPG has the channel but when you select it you get "No Signal" if the Mux is down.

I've done some more experiments. The tuner which was not getting a full scan is a Panasonic EX83 PVR. The coax is connected through this to my Panasonic TX-42G20B TV. The signal level from CH66 is so low that the slightest drop in signal level stops reception.
I have used manual scan to test the signal levels. I only get a signal lock on CH 21,24,27,31,39 & 66. Why is CH66 so low?

Thanks for the information. The signal strength on the TV is colour coded. All channels apart from C66 are green. C66 is orange sometimes slipping into red. I suppose I have to wait for good weather to guarantee C66 reception. Will the channel allocation in 2012, when we get Freeview HD, sort this out? It seems a long time to wait.

I use the Reigate transmitter as I am in the shadow of Reigate hill. My Freeview reception is fine but my FM radio reception has been poor for some time, especially R4. I have to switch to mono now. I have an FM halo ariel on my Freeview TV mast. Can anyone advise how to check whether there are problems with the Reigate FM repeater? FM was fine 6 months ago.

Martin Holland: R4 is tuned to 93.5 Mhz. Reception seems OK during the day but gets noisy during the late afternoon. I have to switch to mono about 15:30 - 16:30. R3, Classic FM and other FM stations are OK all the time. R4 used to be the most reliable signal. If all my FM stations were bad I'd get a new aerial but it is only R4. I'm perplexed.

I rescanned my freeview channels on my Panasonic PVR. They were all Quality = 10 except Ch26/27 (Film4 etc) which was Quality = 2. Is there a problem with this channel?

Reigate transmitter has lost ITV1, ITV4, FilmFour. Rescanned tuner several time. No channel greater than 39 found.
