Jordy I like your post. Liverpool have paid £35 Million for a player who has had 1/2 a successfully season in the Premier League.

Sky don't have the same view this is what was said last July by Mike Darcey Sky's chief operating officer -

"We're happy to compete on a level playing field. But it's not Ofcom's job to help BT sell our channels for less than they're worth. In the long run, undermining the value of TV is bad for investment, for sport and for consumers,".

I have been using your site for a few years. I really value your help.

I actually think the official information you get on Freeview is very poor- in general is is "you may need an aerial upgrade"!. Other help provided is by organizations who have a vested interest in getting you to spend money.

Your website has provided me help which isn't available elsewhere. Thank You.

My Telly has built in Freeview - like most TV's on sale now.Am I correct that I purchased Freesat I would still have the Freeview channels which aren't on Freesat? I guess the problem would be recording these channels.

My signal comes from Sutton Coldfield. I rescanned today. I was expecting to see BBC HD. I receive freeview via a BT Vision box. Should I get the HD channels?

The solution for this - Sky needs to be broken up. The first company provides the TV channels and owns the rights to sport etc. The second is the retail side of the business. Selling the service, providing the Sky Box etc. The second company deals with the first company in the same way as cable providers do now but on an equal footing. Other companies will be should be able to compete with both companies.

Similar examples are how the government broke British Gas up and how Breweries were only allowed to own so many pubs.
