I have just heard that, pror to the fire, MUX2 ( which carried ITV1, C4, Five, etc. ) was transmiited from its own aerial above the main antenna. Transmission of that MUX has now moved down to the main antenna.
So we're not all going mad, the receved signal strength of those channels really has dropped.

At the weekend, I tried BBC2 analogue Ceefax page 284 digital reception test. The first 4 blocks on each row fail. The test passes for channels 1, 3 & 4. Has anyone else noticed this?

TVs with inbuilt Freeview all retuned after change over. Now they have no signal or crackle on BBC channels. Checked signal on Panasonic TV and 100% then drops to Red and then lost and returns?".

Is this thread about Oxford? DSO hasn't happend there yet. I think you are talking about DSO of Sandy Heath.

MUX 1 from Oxford is on UHF channel (frequency) 34. That frequency is often used by video machines and satellite receivers to send an analogue TV siganal to the TV. If there is one of these devices between the aerial and the Freeview box, it would block reception of MUX 1.
